Login to MetaTrader 4 (MT4) Platform with your trading account.
How to Open a Trade - Follow Below Steps
Select your instrument by searching for it through the Market Watch.
Right-click or double click on the instrument you wish to trade and select "New Order"
Choose the amount of Volume in Lots (the number of units you will buy or sell)
Optional: you may manage your Risk Management by clicking Stop Loss or Take Profit
Optional: you may open a Pending Order by selecting Open trade when rate is, and select the price you wish the trade to open when reached.
Once you have completed your trade settings, Select Sell by Market or Buy by Market (Sell if you predict the price will decrease/Buy if you predict the price will increase)
Then select "OK"
Congratulations, you have successfully opened a trade!
You can find and monitor your open trade by going to the "Terminal" and select the "Trade" Tab
How to Close the Trade
Go to Terminal" and select the "Trade" Tab
Find the trade that you wish to close, right-click on the trade and select "Close Order". Alternatively you can click on the X button on the far right of the instrument.
A pop up window will appear, and simply click on the Yellow Close Tab and then confirm it by clicking on "OK"
How to find your Closed Trades (Trading History)
Go to "Terminal"
Select "Account History"
You may select the time period of closed trades by right click anywhere in the "Account History" Tab
