MT4:
On the MetaTrader 4 platform, you can place a pending order via the main 'Order' window.
Simply change the 'Type' from 'Market Execution' to 'Pending Order'.
A drop-down menu will then appear that will allow you to specify whether the pending order you are about to place is a Buy Limit, Sell Limit, Buy Stop or a Sell Stop Order.
Webtrader:
On the CMTrading Webtrader platform, you can place a pending order via the main 'Order' window.
Select the direction of the instrument (Sell or Buy)
a popup (trade Panel) will open to choose the execution you want or the pending order
then click on ( pending order ) and set it as you wish.
❗️Important Note: When the market is volatile, pending orders are not guaranteed and they might be executed at a price different than the one you have specified in your order.
